Warranty Terms & Conditions
Trust Edge Technologies provides a warranty period for all branded products. Products eligible for warranty will have details listed on the product page. For products without warranties, no warranty information will be provided. It is recommended to contact us to check the warranty eligibility of a product before placing an order.
Trust Edge Technologies General Warranty Terms and Conditions:
- Software Warranty:
- All mobile devices are eligible for a software warranty within one year from the date of purchase.
- Software warranty will be void if the operating system is not updated according to manufacturer recommendations (e.g., maintaining a charged battery, proper data connections).
2. Void Warranty Conditions:
- Warranty will be void if third-party operating systems are detected (e.g., Jailbreaking for Apple, Custom ROMs for Android), different region firmware installation, unlocked bootloaders, or unauthorized tampering of internal storage.
3. Manufacturer Defects:
- Devices are eligible for manufacturer defects within the first 7 days of purchase.
- After 7 days, devices qualify for a software warranty unless an additional hardware
- warranty is purchased.
Apple devices follow the Apple Care warranty policy once activated.
4. Exclusions from Warranty Claims:
- Devices will not qualify for warranty claims if they exhibit physical damages, drops, water damages, cosmetic damages, burns, or issues with display and touch sensors.
- Hardware failure due to power fluctuations, overload, or misuse beyond manufacturer recommendations is not covered.
5. Additional Hardware Warranty:
- If a device is purchased with a one-year additional hardware warranty, services cover the motherboard and replacement parts (excluding display and touch sensors).
6. Accidental Damage:
- Accidental liquid or physical damage voids the warranty instantly, and no service will be provided, except under special conditions set by the manufacturer.
7. Accessory Warranty:
- Devices with removable accessories like smartwatch straps are not eligible for warranty.
- Certain charging adapters, cables, hands-free, and cases may not be eligible for warranty (conditions apply).
8. Device Replacement:
- Device-to-device replacement is not entertained unless manufacturing defects are detected within the first seven days of purchase. Management decisions are final in such events.
9. Refunds:
- Refunds will not be processed for change of mind, wrong device purchase, or different color purchase. Management decisions are final.
10. Seal and Packaging:
- Refunds will not be processed for devices with broken manufacturer seals or tampering of the original manufacturer packaging.
11. Warranty Transfer:
- Warranty cannot be transferred to another individual or entity. It will be void if the device is sold or transferred to a third party.
12. Invoice Tampering:
- Any alteration or tampering with the original invoice disqualifies the device from warranty eligibility.
13. Warranty Duration:
- Undertaken warranty claims may require a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks for devices with international warranty, including Apple Care warranty.
14. Water Resistance:
- Devices with water resistance or IPX ratings are not eligible for liquid damage claims if guidelines by the manufacturer or IPX rating provider are violated.
15. Local Agent Warranty:
- Warranty claims for devices with local agent warranty shall be handled by their specific service centers.
16. International Warranty Claims:
- Devices eligible for international warranty should be handed over for claims with a minimum buffer period of 21 working days before expiry.
17. Battery and Accessories Warranty:
- Batteries, accessories, and wearables are covered for 6 months unless specified otherwise.
